About this extension
Adblocker Zero removes ads and trackers from the web. No account, no setup, nothing to configure - install it and pages immediately load cleaner, faster and more private.
WHAT IT BLOCKS
• Banner ads, pop-ups, sticky overlays and sponsored clutter
• Ad and tracker requests — stopped before they ever leave your browser
• Trackers that follow you from site to site
• Includes defenses against anti-adblock scripts
WHY ADBLOCKER ZERO
• Truly lightweight: blocking runs on your browser's built-in engine, so there is no heavy background process slowing you down
• Private by design: no account, no telemetry, no data collection - your browsing history never leaves your device
• Free and open source (MIT license)
• Available in 52 languages
EVERYDAY CONTROLS
• One switch to pause blocking everywhere
• A per-site switch to trust sites you want to support
• A live counter of blocked requests
• Filter lists refresh automatically every day
FOR POWER USERS
• "My filters": add your own rules in EasyList-compatible syntax
• Manage your trusted-sites list
• Built on proven, community-maintained filter lists: EasyList,
EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe's list and more
PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED
Adblocker Zero asks to read and change data on the websites you visit. That permission is used for exactly one thing: blocking ad and tracker requests and hiding ad elements on the page. The extension collects nothing and sends nothing; the only network requests it makes are the daily downloads of the public filter lists.
