Autodarts Match Companion

This Privacy Policy explains how the Autodarts Match Companion browser extension (the "Add-on") handles information when you install or use it.


The Add-on does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data, browsing history, telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics with the developer or with developer-controlled servers.

The Add-on has no developer-operated server, advertising system, analytics service, or user-tracking system.


To provide its features, the Add-on processes limited information locally within Firefox on your device:

• your feature preferences, such as whether enhanced scoring, quick chat, or supported desktop fullscreen controls are enabled;
• the current browser platform, so unsupported desktop-only features can be hidden on Android;
• the address of an open tab when determining whether it is a supported play.autodarts.com page; and
• visible Autodarts page elements needed to reformat scoring information, display controls, and operate user-selected quick-chat actions.

This local processing is necessary for the Add-on to work. The developer does not receive this information.


Feature preferences are stored using Firefox's local extension storage on your device. They remain there until you change them, clear the Add-on's stored data, remove the relevant Firefox profile data, or uninstall the Add-on.

The Add-on does not create a remote account or upload a backup of these preferences.


The Add-on does not make direct network requests to the developer or to developer-controlled services.

When you select a preset quick-chat message, the Add-on operates the corresponding Autodarts website controls on your behalf. The message may then be transmitted to and processed by Autodarts in the same general manner as a message submitted through the website's own interface. This is a user-initiated action and is subject to Autodarts' terms and privacy practices.

Firefox and Mozilla Add-ons may independently process information needed to install, sign, distribute, update, secure, or manage browser extensions. That processing is controlled by Mozilla and is subject to Mozilla's own privacy notices.


The Add-on requests only the permissions needed for its features:

• Access to play.autodarts.com: allows the Add-on to run on supported Autodarts pages and modify their presentation.
• Storage: saves feature preferences locally in Firefox.
• Tabs: finds open supported Autodarts tabs so updated preferences can be applied to them.

The Add-on does not use these permissions to build a browsing profile or monitor unrelated websites.


The developer does not receive user information from the Add-on and therefore does not sell, rent, disclose, or share such information with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.


The Add-on is designed to minimise data handling by keeping its settings and page processing local to Firefox. No method of software distribution or local storage can be guaranteed completely secure, but the Add-on does not operate a remote database containing user information.

Keep Firefox and the Add-on updated to receive available compatibility and security improvements.


The Add-on is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Add-on.

Users must follow any age requirements imposed by Firefox, Autodarts, their device provider, and applicable law.


You may disable individual features through the Add-on's settings, disable the Add-on in Firefox, clear its locally stored data, or uninstall it at any time.

Because the developer does not receive or maintain personal data through the Add-on, the developer generally has no user-data record to access, correct, export, or delete. Requests concerning information processed by Autodarts or Mozilla should be directed to the relevant service.


Autodarts Match Companion is an independent add-on and is not produced, sponsored, endorsed, or supported by Autodarts or Mozilla unless expressly stated otherwise.

This Privacy Policy does not govern Autodarts, Firefox, Mozilla Add-ons, or other third-party services. Review their respective privacy notices to understand their practices.


This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Add-on, its permissions, legal requirements, or distribution policies. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are made.

If a future version begins collecting or transmitting data beyond the processing described here, the Add-on's disclosures and consent flow will be updated before that change is introduced.
