Grant Grinder does not sell personal information, use searches for behavioral advertising, or include advertising pixels or third-party behavioral analytics. Public search requires no account. The extension stores its configured app URL, widget position, recent search text, status, and sort preference in browser storage. It uses temporary active-tab access only after a toolbar click. Selected page text is submitted only when the user explicitly invokes the context-menu search action. On first-party Grant Grinder pages, the opportunity identifier in the URL can be used to request similar opportunities. If the user is already signed in, the extension can retrieve the user name or email, favorites, and saved searches through the first-party page; it cannot read the session cookie, and any local cache expires after up to 15 minutes. Standard hosting and security request logs can include IP address, user agent, request time, endpoint, response status, and usage count. Users can search without an account, clear extension storage, remove the extension, and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@wiplash.ai.
