In short: the extension runs only on the 21 kite shops listed in its manifest and does nothing anywhere else. On a product page at one of those shops it sends that page's URL to our API (backend.gigrats.dev) to fetch the item's price history, and reports the page's public price, title and availability so histories stay fresh — neither request carries any identifier. The overlay also loads your own watch state, and that request carries a random per-install id. The id is not derived from you or your device, but it is persistent, so product pages you open on supported shops are associated with it. If you opt in to price alerts, the email address or Telegram account you connect becomes linked to that id; email uses double-opt-in and every mail carries an unsubscribe link. Nothing about you is sold, and no data is used for anything beyond showing prices and sending the alerts you asked for. Some "View deal" links carry an affiliate tag — nothing on the shop's own page is rewritten, and no link is followed unless you click it.
