Privacy Policy for Mostaql Proposal Generator

1. Data Collection & Usage:
   The "Mostaql Proposal Generator" extension does not collect, store, or share any personal data, browsing history, or user information on any external servers owned by the developer.
2. Third-Party Services (Google Gemini API):
   When the user explicitly clicks the "Generate Proposal" button, the extension temporarily reads the project description and client name from the current active tab (mostaql.com) and sends this specific data directly to the Google Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) to generate the proposal text. This data is not stored by the extension.
3. API Key Storage:
   The user's Gemini API key is stored strictly locally on the user's device using the browser's native chrome.storage.local API. It is never transmitted anywhere except directly to the official Google Gemini API endpoint for authentication.
4. Changes to This Policy:
   If we make changes to how data is handled, we will update this policy accordingly.
