Pro-E Browser Extension Privacy Policy

The Pro-E browser extension helps authorized Pro-E users review and apply promotions to a saved Sales Order currently open in Accurate Online.

Information handled

The extension handles:

• The saved Sales Order number visible on the supported Accurate Online page.
• A revocable Pro-E authentication token and configured Pro-E server address, stored locally in Firefox.
• Order-confirmation information returned by Pro-E, which may include a customer name, Sales Order total, and calculated promotion benefits.
• Promotion review and apply requests, including the selected Sales Order and promotion.
• Security and operational metadata such as request time, IP address, browser type, and request success or failure.

How information is used

Information is used only to:

• Authenticate the Pro-E user.
• Locate the corresponding Sales Order within the authorized tenant and selected Accurate database.
• Calculate and display eligible promotions.
• Apply a promotion after explicit user confirmation.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and unsafe writes.
• Maintain operational and security audit records.

Data sharing and advertising

Pro-E does not sell extension data. Pro-E does not use extension data for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.

Information is not transferred to third parties except when necessary to provide the requested Pro-E and Accurate integration, protect the service from fraud or abuse, comply with applicable law, or complete a legally compliant business transfer.

Security and retention

All extension communication with Pro-E uses HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored locally by Firefox. Pro-E stores only a one-way hash of each extension token.

Tokens expire automatically and can be revoked by disconnecting the extension. Operational and audit records are retained according to Pro-E’s business, security, and legal retention requirements.

User control

The extension sends Sales Order information only when the user opens its panel or initiates an operation. Applying a promotion requires explicit confirmation.

Users can disconnect the extension from its Options page. Disconnecting revokes the server session and removes the locally stored authentication token.

Browser data declarations

Firefox describes the information handled by this extension as authentication information, website content, personally identifying information, and financial and payment information.

For this extension, these categories are limited to:

• The revocable Pro-E account token.
• The visible saved Sales Order number.
• A customer name used to confirm the resolved Sales Order.
• Sales Order totals and calculated promotion values.

The extension does not access passwords, payment-card numbers, bank-account credentials, personal communications, health information, location, search history, or general browsing history.
