Qwertia runs entirely inside your browser. Everything you type goes directly into the text field on the page and never leaves your computer. The extension does not collect, transmit or sell any data, has no analytics, and makes no network requests - the keyboard is fully bundled inside the extension package.
Your settings (on/off state, per-site toggle, chosen layout) are stored locally in your browser's extension storage and, if you are signed into Firefox Sync, synchronized by the browser itself.
