- More resilient connection: the extension now reaches its own account
  service directly instead of through the VPN node, so a slow or unavailable
  server no longer freezes the whole extension or signs you out.
- Auto-recovery: if the server you're on stops responding, the extension now
  disconnects and tells you, instead of leaving you with no internet.
- Smoother sign-in: scanning the QR code no longer gets stuck on "signing in"
  if the network hiccups — it shows a retry instead.
- Fewer surprise sign-outs and a cleaner switch between accounts.
- Firefox: removed an unused permission.
