This extension stores your provider API keys and preferences locally in your browser (browser.storage.local) - never on any server operated by the developer.

To produce a translation, the current subtitle line and the matching API key are sent directly from your browser to the official API endpoint of whichever provider you configured and is currently active: generativelanguage.googleapis.com (Gemini), api.groq.com (Groq), api.cerebras.ai (Cerebras), or openrouter.ai (OpenRouter). This is the extension's only data transmission.
