TabKeeper is a Chrome extension for saving, organizing, and restoring groups of tabs as named profiles.
TabKeeper uses the following data only when the user interacts with the extension:
- Tab titles
- Tab URLs
- Favicon URLs
- User-created profile names
- User-edited titles and URLs
- Theme preference
This data is used only to provide TabKeeper's core features: saving tab profiles, reopening saved tabs, editing saved profiles, exporting/importing profiles, and adding saved pages to Chrome bookmarks.
Saved profiles and settings are stored locally in Chrome extension storage on the user's device.
TabKeeper does not send saved profile data to any external server.
Users may export saved profiles to a JSON file. Exported files are created locally and controlled by the user.
Users may also import a JSON file back into TabKeeper. Imported data is stored locally in Chrome extension storage.
When the user chooses to bookmark a profile or individual page, TabKeeper adds the selected title and URL to Chrome bookmarks.
TabKeeper does not use remote JavaScript or remote WebAssembly. All extension code is included in the extension package.
TabKeeper does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties.
TabKeeper does not use user data for purposes unrelated to its single purpose.
TabKeeper does not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
