Be careful with old versions! These versions are displayed for testing and reference purposes. You should always use the latest version of an add-on.
Latest version
Version 1.0.4
Released Aug 7, 2026 - 35.03 KBWorks with firefox 127.0 and laterThe slider no longer goes dead on a page. If the add-on's link to a tab was closed at the wrong moment, that tab stopped responding until you reloaded it.
A boosted page that went quiet now comes back on its own, instead of waiting for you to press play again.
Updates hand your open tabs back without a reload.
Reset all clears every tab the moment you press it, and can no longer be undone by a level that was still loading.
Remember levels is respected from the first second after the add-on wakes up.
The popup keeps up with changes made outside it, such as a keyboard shortcut.
Arrow keys move the slider 25% per press instead of a quarter of a percent.
New: a tip link in the footer of the popup, next to Reset all. Nothing is held back behind it, and nothing loads from that site unless you click it.

Older versions
Version 1.0.3
Released Aug 3, 2026 - 33.04 KBWorks with firefox 127.0 and laterThe mute button icon now actually changes when you mute.
Boost levels hold steadier. A level chosen right as the browser woke the extension back up could snap back to the old saved one, and embedded players could dip to 100% for a moment. Both hold now.
Keyboard shortcuts no longer edit a remembered level from a page the extension cannot run on.
If a different volume extension already controls a page's audio, the popup says so instead of looking healthy while the slider does nothing.
After an update, open tabs return to normal volume on their own instead of staying stuck at the old boost.
Firefox 127 or newer is now required. Older versions never granted the permission the extension needs to run on pages, so it looked installed but did nothing.

Version 1.0.2
Released Jul 29, 2026 - 31.63 KBWorks with firefox 115.0 and laterGoing back a page no longer costs you the sound. When Firefox restored a page from its back/forward cache, the audio could come back silent until you reloaded it. It comes back working now, with your level still applied.
Levels stop drifting on their own. A level you set while a page was still loading could snap back to whatever was saved for that site, and with remembering turned off a boost could quietly return to 100% by itself after a while. Both are fixed.
The popup is slower to give up. On a busy page it could decide it was not able to run before the page had finished attaching, and then stay that way until you closed and reopened it. It waits now, and corrects itself once the page is ready.
