loged in your account though proxy,Desktop application can connect to certen server and work properly.but,in the plugin, select the same server won't let you connect to any web site.
edited:i'll try to use this plugin behide dnsmasq later.Developer response
posted 9 years agoChinese firewall is very aggressive. Since the extension relies on DNS (which is poisoned in China), there is only so much that can be done. if the desktop app works, use that, and just use the extension to block ads and trackers. - Rated 5 out of 5by caritoinu, 9 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Randy S., 9 years agoA+! Great VPN, prob one of the best i've used over the last couple of years. Some great features too, and most importantly the speeds are ace. I upgraded to the pro plan after using the free plan for a month, and was really impressed with the various upgrades I recieved. If you want to keep your private life private, or any personal information (especially of others) safe and secure, then Windscribe is a great investment

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13464983, 9 years agoWhitelists don't work (tested on two different desktop PCs. Both Chrome and Firefox). I whitelist a page, refresh and whitelisting is not applied. Hence, I cannot access localhost pages.

posted 9 years agoMake sure to select "direct connection" when whitelisting. Just tested it, all works as expected. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mnpn, 9 years ago
