WHAT WE PROCESS
- Voice message audio: when you ask for a transcription, the audio is sent to an AI transcription provider (Groq, and fallbacks) and the text is returned to you. The audio is NOT stored on our servers or on disk.
- Transcribed text: since 13/08/2026 the transcription text is NOT stored on our servers. It is cached in YOUR browser (chrome.storage.local) for up to 90 days or 7 MB, whichever comes first, so that search and re-reading work without reprocessing. You can clear it at any time in Settings.
- Account data: e-mail and name from Google Sign-In, plan and usage counters (how many operations, not their content).

BRING YOUR OWN KEY (BYOK)
If you configure your own Groq or OpenAI API key, requests go from your browser straight to that provider. The key is stored encrypted (AES-GCM 256, PBKDF2) in your browser and never reaches our servers.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your audio or transcriptions to train our own models. We do not read your conversations: the extension only acts on the voice messages you choose to transcribe.

THIRD PARTIES
AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini, Cloudflare, OpenAI) process the audio to produce the transcription. Payments are handled by Stripe. Infrastructure by Supabase and Vercel.
