Simple and effective. Thank you!

Just a question: a previous reviewer mentioned that it was necessary to define "dom.webcomponents.shadowdom.enabled" as true in about:config... I'd like to know more about this, since the plug-in works well even without that property being set.

If you are using Firefox version 62 and below, then enabling dom.webcomponents.shadowdom.enabled in about:config was required, in version 63 and above Shadow DOM is enabled by default, so this is not required.

    This piece of sh*t never ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THE WORDS MEAN WHEN I DOUBLE CLICK. How do you not know what turgid means? It's been a word since the 1600s. Jesus christ

    I used this extension for a long time, but it stopped working completely since past couple of months.

    I have been using this "Dictionary on Click" addon, it supports meanings, pronunciation, and parts of speech too.

    Used to work perfectly. Now it's useless, broken, garbage. Any word, including basic words like the word "word", just shows "No definition found."
    Worthless in its current state.

    Use "Dictionariez: Your Dictionary, Your Language" instead. It actually works.

    It inexplicably stopped functioning a month or so ago :-( Which is a huge shame because I found this extension extremely useful while it lasted! I hope its developer finds the time to fix it at some point

    I think this add-on is now unmaintained. The definitions for the words doesn't so up. "Sorry no definition found" appears even for a word like "navigate".

    This add-on appears to be really buggy and even then this retains recommended badge by mozilla.
