PayPal Honey: Automated Coupons & Rewards by Honey

by Synetech, 8 years ago*Honey doesn't work anymore; clicking the button no longer opens the drop-down.*
This extension does not work for me. The only online shopping I do is with eBay, and there are *never* any codes for eBay, and even the 0.5% return thing it offers for eBay never works because all of my purchases are always excluded. This extension might be of some value to some people, but certainly not for me.
Also, I do not like that it is constantly watching what sites we visit, even in privacy mode, and phoning home with that information to see if there's a code for the site. That's a huge privacy leak.
UPDATE:
In addition to it never working, it also has no codes for any other sites (it's basically just groupon and other sites that only have useless fake or expired codes).
It also EXPIRES YOUR GOLD, so you could go a long time, slowly trying to inch towards that 1,000 gold minimum to be able to actually get ANYTHING out of Honey, but they'll delete it and force you to start over from scratch. Yes, they're so petty, they'll steal your $1.23. 😒
There's also no way to remove the affiliate that referred you to stop them from getting paid (assuming they actually do), so if you joined Honey with an affiliate link from someone who later turns out to be horrible, too bad, you'll have to either keep helping them out, or forfeit whatever honey-gold you have and delete your account. 😒
MegaLag did an exposé video showing how Honey STEALS affiliate commissions from LITERALLY EVERYBODY! On top of being useless to users, they're also THIEVES! 😠
DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT NOW! (You have literally nothing to lose since I've never seen ANYBODY show they actually saved anything with Honey. 😒)

- Rated 1 out of 5by suspicious_rat, 2 days agoi used to use honey a long time ago, back before everything came out about the company, because i thought it would help support the youtubers i liked to watch.
honey is a fraud and a borderline scam. it steals money from affiliate links, money that rightfully belongs to creators.
mozilla PLEASE remove this scammy extension from the firefox browser add-on store. corporate greed like this should not be encouraged!! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14868001, 2 days agoI don't think I've saved any money with this scam add-on. It only exists to steal affiliate links from youtubers and the like.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18955378, 4 days agoI love how Mozilla takes down extensions for zero to no suspicious behavior, but they let one of the scummiest tech giants to still operate with all their shady and predatory behavior. Fuck you, Mozilla and you can suck my dick.

- Rated 1 out of 5by captain88, a month agoThey steal money, and afliate links, also they steal money from stores by stealing coupon codes meant for other people like veterans and fireman and employees. those code's are not meant for you. they also steal afliate links and replace creators links with their own.
